Job Description

Job Title: Retail Replenishment Manager

Reports to: Vice President, Demand Planning Management

Overview

We are seeking an analytical Retail Replenishment Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our inventory at both Retail stores and E-Commerce site. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create assortment plans. Key responsibilities include replenishing stores, analyzing sales and inventory data, developing and implementing inventory optimization strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and forecast sales, manage inventory levels, and determine distribution strategy to all stores and E-Commerce site.
  • Analyze POS, inventory, and shipment data to make informed decisions regarding replenishment of items at the store level.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution processes, including optimizing replenishment parameters, setting safety stock, and weeks of supply strategies.
  • Scope, plan, and implement process improvements to increase accurate stock flow and maximize availability at stores.
  • Responsible for inventory reservation needs.
  • Accountable for inventory stock transfer/replenishment responsibilities.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including in-stock rates and excess.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and software to enhance decision-making.
  • Manage and update distribution store models.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock.
  • Establish and maintain significant cross-functional relationships with buying teams, product merchants, distribution centers, and other departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5+ years in related field.
  • Proven experience as a replenishment manager, allocation or distribution analyst, or similar role.
  • Understanding of inventory metrics, including safety stock and classification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Logility, Sigma).
  • Experience leveraging and optimizing systems for replenishment and allocation based on different inventory models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDA, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.

Working mode: Hybrid (3 days in office)

Estimate Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000

Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
