Job Summary

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the receipt, storage, and shipment of parts and materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately receive and store incoming stock.
  • Pull parts from pick lists for orders.
  • Package and ship parts, including crating for international shipments.
  • Operate forklifts and handle material as needed.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Receive incoming freight from vendors and maintain inventory records.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor work backlog and request assistance when necessary.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and 5S requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
  • Competent in material handling using forklifts and cranes.
  • Experience with packaging and shipping, including crating for overseas shipments.
  • Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in international shipping and familiarity with shipping regulations for overseas crate building.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in managing shipping logistics and inventory discrepancies.
  • OSHA certification or previous safety training in material handling.
  • Experience with 5S or other lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with using hand tools and woodworking for crate construction.
