About the Opportunity
Mount Nittany Health is seeking a highly skilled Pain Management Physician to join our employed group. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive patient care at Mount Nittany Medical Center, a 260-bed acute care facility in State College, PA.

Job Summary
We are looking for a board-certified Pain Management Physician with a strong background in pain management techniques and best practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
The Pain Management Physician will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. They will also provide evidence-informed medical and/or interventional pain management to patients based on appropriate clinical indication and meet high standards of care.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Medical Doctor Degree (University-affiliated medical school preferred)
  • Resident training in university-affiliated hospital preferred
  • Current Pennsylvania medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • ABA Board-certification and pain fellowship required
  • Past medical licensure has never been challenged, suspended or revoked
  • Hospital privileges have never been revoked at any hospital
  • No past convictions for fraud, narcotics, or any felony offense

What We Offer
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
  • Competitive salary: $350,000 - $450,000 per year
  • PTO: 9 weeks
  • CME: 1 week + $3,500 annually
  • Sign-on bonus: $40k over 3 years
