CRA Performance Specialist:

We are seeking a highly skilled CRA Performance Specialist to join our compliance department at Northwest Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program.

In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and commercial lenders to improve community development lending. You will also work closely with business units to manage day-to-day interactions and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail lending and be familiar with commercial lending practices. A CRCM certification or equivalent is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with community organizations and commercial lenders to improve community development lending
  • Manage day-to-day interactions and relationships with business units
  • Work closely with management to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Prepare reports for CRA performance monitoring, including grants, low-to-moderate income lending performance, consumer complaints, and analysis of CRA requirements
  • Assist in managing CRA performance examinations with regulators
  • Ensure document and data integrity
  • Prepare management reports
  • Develop tools and processes to enhance compliance efficiency and map penetration of the bank's lending portfolio
  • Ensure compliance within subsidiaries and affiliates
  • Identify and resolve compliance issues
  • Communicate guidance to business units
  • Plan and schedule regular monitoring reviews
  • Coordinate training initiatives to meet goals
  • Track ongoing projects, including deliverables and milestones
  • Perform annual self-assessment performance reports
  • Analyze performance reports to enhance CRA performance
  • Work with Testing and Training Compliance Manager and Business Unit Compliance Specialist to implement and complete risk assessments
  • Attend compliance training events to stay current with regulations
  • Identify risks and test controls designed to minimize risks
  • Communicate results to Compliance Department, Business Unit Compliance Specialist, and Business Unit Management
  • Research and improve report data
  • Recommend improvements to procedures
  • Maximize technology tools available and benefits to the bank
  • Minimize departmental non-payroll costs and risk
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest Bank policies and procedures, as well as Federal/State regulations
  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
  • Work as part of a team
  • Work with on-site equipment

About Us:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
