Hospice Care Specialist

About the Position:
This full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is an excellent opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual to join our hospice care team at Advantage Home Health and Hospice. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their homes or facilities.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a candidate who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep sense of empathy and compassion, and a willingness to learn and grow with our organization. The successful candidate will have valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, a valid driver's license, and state-required auto insurance.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Deliver empathetic and compassionate care to patients
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, pain management, and symptom control
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment for patients
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid Driver's license and state required Auto Insurance
- A deep sense of empathy and compassion for patients and their families
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to provide physical and emotional comfort to those in need
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with the hospice care team
- Understanding of end-of-life care principles (experience in hospice is a plus)
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,500 - $72,000, based on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings.
