Banner Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Adult Recovery Team, you will play a vital role in facilitating meetings and follow-up recommendations to ensure continuity of care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing assessments of patient needs and service intensity using identified tools.
  • Assist patients and participants in developing a service plan and coordinating scheduling and availability of services.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, clinical staffing, court hearings, and other relevant meetings.
  • Provide referrals to outside providers and community resources in accordance with HIPAA policies.
  • Complete progress notes, patient record documents, and comprehensive reports in accordance with agency and funding source guidelines.
  • Assist in coordinating and planning out-of-home placements and discharges.
  • Accurately read, record, and interpret information, including assessments, measures, and diagnostic criteria.
  • Complete required training and participate in individual and team clinical supervision.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
  • 18 credit hours of post-high school education in a field related to behavioral health completed no more than four years before the date the individual begins providing behavioral health services.
  • Two years of full-time behavioral health work experience or four years of full-time behavioral work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least one year of full-time behavioral health experience.
  • Associate's degree and at least two years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
