Job Title: Lead Business Analyst-Finance Transformation

Join Intuit's Finance team as a Lead Business Analyst-Finance Transformation and drive business growth and profitability through strategic, financial, and operational leadership.

About the Role

This is a finance functional role in the Finance Digital Transformation and Governance (FDTG) team, within the Controllership, Assurance & Operations (CAO) organization. As an individual contributor, you will interface between technology teams and finance process owners to provide finance requirements, validate solutions, assess impact to finance processes, provide change management, and have strong risk management abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate complex accounting guidance and processes into system requirements, considering end-to-end business processes, transactional flows, associated accounting impacts, and required controls.
  • Provide point of view on solution leveraging end-to-end knowledge of accounting processes and controls.
  • Validate solution for financial implications while providing point of view on system design, gaps, and deferrals with inputs on prioritization and manual workarounds.
  • Align on testing approach and scenarios with tech teams, a view towards financial risks mitigation and testing the solution for finance requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 7-10 years of functional finance/business systems experience or equivalent experience.
  • At least five to seven years of Billing, Quote to Cash, Revenue, Accounting, Financial system implementation experience, with experience on requirements documentation, solution review, and testing validation as a functional lead.
  • Experience on Oracle BRM, RevStream, Partner Revshare systems, and Oracle R12 or similar systems (such as Zuora, Billing Platform, Oracle Revenue Cloud, etc.) preferred.

  • Accounting and financial domain knowledge, with a deep understanding of AR, Revenue, and Deferred revenue accounting and associated transactional flow.
  • Strong 'systems and process orientation' with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation, and influencing skills, including the ability to raise issues appropriately to the right level internally and externally to resolve.
How You Will Lead

You will lead by example, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Quote to Cash and Revenue accounting processes, strong project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional change management and communication skills.

You will be a trusted partner, able to collaborate with a wide variety of teams, communicate effectively at all levels within the organization, and skill with quantitative/qualitative analytical methodologies and tools.

You will be able to quickly research, understand, and document new processes and requirements, and have experience identifying systemic and process risks and how to mitigate those discoveries.
