We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Medical City Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who want to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support efforts of facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
  • Registered Nurse in TX or holds a compact license
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider or APHON Chemotherapy Provider must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
