Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and a generous PTO program.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time position responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with various types of cancer. The ideal candidate will have at least 0-3 years of experience in oncology and a BSN degree. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient health status, administering medications and therapies, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and therapies under the direction of a physician
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 0-3 years of experience in oncology
This position requires working in a fast-paced clinical environment with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.
Physical RequirementsThis role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
