Oncology Nurse Specialist

As an Oncology Nurse Specialist with Texas Oncology, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals diagnosed with cancer.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN to join our team at the Dallas Presbyterian location. The successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and excellent communication skills.
Estimated Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per year
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a graduate degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and have a minimum of one year of experience in oncology nursing. A current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations.
- Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to oncology nursing practice.
