As an Inclusive Classroom Specialist with Sumner County School District, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

About the Role

This position requires an experienced educator who can develop and implement effective lesson plans, while also providing individualized support to students.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing situations, and a passion for creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective support and inclusion
  3. Maintain accurate records of student performance and adjust instruction accordingly
  4. Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Proven experience working with students with special needs

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $17.88-$21.64 hourly, based on previous relevant experience and education.
