">About the Role
">As a middle school social studies teacher at KIPP Memphis, your primary responsibilities will include designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program that meets the unique needs of our students.
">Requirements and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, hold active Tennessee state licensure and certification, and demonstrate a commitment to working with educationally underserved students. A master's degree or higher in education or a related field is preferred, as well as prior teaching experience in an urban setting.
">Additional Information
">The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. ">This position requires prolonged periods of standing, actively monitoring student behavior, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
