Associate Director of Annual Giving

North Carolina Central University is seeking a skilled fundraiser to fill the role of Associate Director of Annual Giving. This entry-level position will operate under the leadership of the Director of Annual Giving, focusing on developing and implementing strategies to secure donations from alumni, friends, and other supporters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual giving plans to meet fundraising goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and university leadership
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications
  • 1-2 years of experience in fundraising or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
