Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist

El Centro de Cirugía Ambulatoria de Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) ofrece la experiencia de especialistas quirúrgicos de nuestras instituciones pediátricas de renombre en un centro de cirugía ambulatoria centrado en el niño. Buscamos un Anestesiólogo experimentado para unirse a nuestro equipo. Este puesto es de carácter PRN.
Responsabilidades Clave
El Anestesiólogo será responsable de la provisión y dirección de todos los servicios de anestesiología para los pacientes de PSV.
Calificaciones
- Licencia médica activa y sin restricciones en Virginia
- Miembro activo del personal médico de un sistema de salud pediátrico reconocido
- Conocimiento o intención demostrada de aprender sobre las operaciones diarias del Centro de Cirugía Ambulatoria
- Anestesiólogo certificado por la junta
Pre-Operativo:
- Realizar una evaluación pre-anestésica y proporcionar instrucciones y preparación preoperatoria.
- Ordenar y revisar estudios preoperatorios según sea necesario.
- Asegurarse de que todos los resultados de pruebas diagnósticas pre-anestésicas hayan sido recibidos y documentar la revisión.
- Desarrollar un plan de anestesia y discutirlo con el paciente.
- Asegurarse de que se haya completado la lista de verificación del equipo pre-anestésico.
- Estar disponible durante la inducción y a lo largo del procedimiento para consultas.
- Realizar una reevaluación del paciente antes de iniciar los procedimientos anestésicos.
- Comprobar el equipo, medicamentos y suministro de gases.
- Monitorear al paciente y registrar toda la información relevante.
- Determinar si el paciente necesita recuperación de primera etapa o si puede ser eximido de esta.
- Monitorear continuamente al paciente hasta que esté en condiciones estables en la Unidad de Cuidados Post Anestésicos (PACU).
- Comunicar al personal de PACU el curso intraoperatorio del paciente y coordinar el plan de atención postoperatoria.
- Documentar en el Registro de Cuidados Post Anestésicos todos los eventos significativos de la fase perioperatoria.
- Evaluar a cada paciente antes del alta de acuerdo con las leyes de salud y seguridad estatales aplicables.

El ambiente de trabajo es moderadamente ruidoso y presenta un alto riesgo de exposición a patógenos transmitidos por la sangre.
