Facility HighlightsOur NICU is a 108-bed, Level IV facility that manages approximately 1,500 NICU admissions and 11,000 newborn deliveries each year.
We provide advanced care options including therapeutic hypothermia, comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support, and access to ECMO, all while maintaining a strong collaborative relationship with maternal fetal medicine specialists.
Specialized Care UnitsThe NICU features a dedicated Small Baby Unit that specializes in the critical care of preterm infants starting from 22 weeks gestation.
Additionally, we extend our services to Level III NICUs at affiliated hospitals, ensuring a broad reach of care.
Quality and RecognitionOur NICU participates in the Vermont Oxford Network and consistently ranks in the top decile for various quality measures. We have also been recognized among the top 50 children's hospitals for neonatal care.
Candidate Requirements- Board Certification in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Possession of a valid medical license, DEA registration, and NRP certification.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Applicants should be prepared for the physical requirements of the role, including the ability to navigate various locations, perform procedures requiring fine motor skills, and respond promptly to on-call duties.
