We are excited to announce the appointment of Richard Raya as the new Chief Executive Officer of Marin Promise Partnership. This significant transition follows the retirement of Ann Mathieson, the founder and previous CEO, who has dedicated herself to advancing educational equity since the organization's inception in 2012.
Gratitude for Leadership: We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ann for her visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to addressing systemic challenges in education. Her efforts have been instrumental in fostering collaboration among various organizations in Marin, aiming to close equity gaps and achieve meaningful outcomes through shared goals and collective action.
Richard's Vision: Richard brings over 20 years of executive experience, having successfully united elected officials, administrators, and community members to enhance outcomes for low-income families. His recent role as Chief Strategy Officer at the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) exemplifies his ability to initiate systemic change and drive collaborative efforts.
Commitment to Educational Equity: Richard's leadership philosophy aligns with our mission to ensure that every student in Marin County receives the necessary support and resources to thrive. He is dedicated to fostering partnerships and leveraging community voices to create lasting change.
