Custodial Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Custodial Care Specialist to join our team at Regency Canyon Lakes Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
About the JobThis is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $42,000 per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining residents' rooms and common areas, adhering to cleaning schedules, and coordinating daily housekeeping services with nursing services.
Key Responsibilities- Wash, dry, and carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards.
- Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
