Position Overview:
The Senior Specialist in Global Mobility and Immigration is tasked with facilitating the implementation, management, and communication of global Talent Mobility and Immigration initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Support Talent Mobility services for EMEA/APAC, handling both international and domestic mobility cases.
- Evaluate employee immigration requirements and coordinate applications for work authorizations, renewals, and de-registrations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Initiate immigration requests with third-party providers, ensuring compliance with policies and local regulations.
- Manage Service Now cases related to Immigration Services and assist team members as needed.
- Generate and analyze reports to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Provide backup support to the Americas team when necessary.
- Evaluate immigration cases within the EU context.
- Assist with Workday Immigration Information and monitor work authorization expirations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to inquiries from customers and legal counsel.
- Ability to balance business needs with legal obligations, exercising independent judgment and discretion.
- Exceptional consultative and customer service skills, demonstrating effective communication and an enterprise mindset.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across various organizational levels.
- Capability to build and sustain successful relationships with key leaders to support HR Services objectives.
- Process-oriented with strong technical and analytical skills to deliver effective immigration solutions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow.
- Background in providing immigration services within Global Mobility, Legal, or Corporate settings.
- Knowledge of global and international immigration policies and practices regarding visa applications and maintenance.
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of visa types, particularly in the US and EMEA.
- Experience managing global immigration caseloads.
- Expertise in assessing immigration needs for employees and candidates.
- Coordination of work authorization applications, renewals, and de-registrations.
- Proficient in immigration communications and inquiry responses.
- Ability to track and report on immigration processes.
- Support for Global Mobility initiatives across EMEA/APAC/US is advantageous.
