Our client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a Global Mobility and Immigration, Sr. Specialist on a contract basis.

Work Location:
This role requires 50% on-site presence.

Role Summary:
The Sr. Specialist in Global Mobility and Immigration will oversee the implementation, management, and communication of global Talent Mobility and Immigration initiatives.

This role encompasses supporting Talent Mobility and managing EMEA/APAC international and domestic mobility services, evaluating employee immigration requirements, and coordinating applications for work authorizations, renewals, and de-registrations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business; an advanced degree is advantageous.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to respond swiftly to inquiries from customers and legal counsel.
  • Capability to balance business needs with legal requirements, exercising independent judgment and discretion.
  • Excellent consultative and customer service skills, demonstrating effective communication and an enterprise mindset.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels within a complex matrix.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining effective networks and relationships with key leaders to support HR Services objectives.
  • Process-oriented with technical and analytical skills to deliver effective immigration solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate immigration requests with third-party providers in accordance with established processes.
  • Manage work authorization applications and renewals.
  • Ensure compliance with policy and local legislation regarding immigration matters.
  • Oversee ServiceNow cases related to immigration services and support team members.
  • Analyze reports and propose enhancements to processes.
  • Provide backup support to the Americas team as needed.
  • Evaluate immigration cases within the EU.
  • Support Workday Immigration Information and monitor work authorization expirations.
