Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of electrical systems, including 4160v and below
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical systems, including 4160v and below
  • Reading blueprints, shop drawings, installation guides, and manuals
  • Ordering materials for projects and repairs
  • Developing and executing preventative maintenance tasks
  • Supervising apprentices and ensuring their work meets high standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance
  • Oregon General Journeyman License (preferred)
  • Oregon Limited Plant Manufacturing License
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Skills
  • PLC programming
  • VFD operation
  • SCADA system knowledge
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to electrical systems, tools, and equipment. The employee will work in both inside and outside conditions, with occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, vibration, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is usually loud, and the employee may be required to work long hours during peak periods.
