Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts in the absence of the Store Operations Manager.
  • Oversee, mentor, and train a team of 2-5 employees involved in cookie sales and deliveries.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and initial training of new hourly staff members.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews for prospective hires in the manager's absence.
  • Assist the Store Operations Manager with inventory management, ordering, and scheduling tasks.
  • Ensure staff adherence to company standards regarding baking, uniforms, and policies.
  • Promote upselling and exceptional customer service among team members.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
  • Experience in conducting in-person interviews for hourly staff.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Availability to work a 4-5 day week with 1-2 shifts during the latter part of the week.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible for employment in the United States.
