Job Overview

Proskauer, a premier law firm recognized globally, is seeking a Client Operations Analyst. This role is pivotal in analyzing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing, collections, and compliance activities. The Analyst will collaborate closely with the Client Operations team to enhance the management of the Firm's resources and to advance our reporting and monitoring capabilities. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking and possess a keen attention to detail. This position reports to the Manager of Client Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly analyses along with tailored reports to meet the diverse needs of stakeholders, employing both traditional and innovative methodologies.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts to foster new ideas and streamline processes, thereby improving departmental efficiency.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automating manual reporting and operational processes.
  • Assist management in preparing presentations for senior leadership.
  • Conduct ad hoc SQL queries in response to specific data requests.
  • Work alongside the Manager of Client Operations to design reports that provide effective solutions to current business challenges.
  • Partner with the Information Services department and other development teams to enhance the quality, consistency, and accuracy of report outputs.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in financial analysis is preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions such as vertical lookups, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI is desirable.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and address complex problems with effective solutions.
  • A collaborative team player capable of working with individuals across various functions and levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt work hours based on workload demands.
This position necessitates regular physical presence in the office. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $80,000, influenced by factors such as the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, educational background, and professional certifications.
