We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our Sustainability Infrastructure Building Solutions & Technologies team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce site safety and security procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring profitability and cash flow targets are met.
- Collaborate with the Market Team Operations Manager and Regional Resource Team to provide sales support and ensure the profitable execution of assigned projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or an Associate's degree with equivalent work-related experience.
- Minimum of five years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry, preferably with experience in HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems, with a strong understanding of commercial and contractual complexities.
