The Opportunity

The Senior Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison for key customers, driving sales growth and providing technical solutions that align with JSR's business objectives.

This role requires strategic account management, fostering strong customer relationships, and a deep understanding of the specialized technical demands within the semiconductor industry.

Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Sell products to customers designated by management, handle Tier 2 accounts, and serve as the primary conduit for all customer communication.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers, serving as a trusted advisor to address their needs and challenges.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to assess satisfaction, anticipate future requirements, and identify potential areas for additional support or product solutions.
  • Oversee customer accounts and ensure clear communication of customer needs and concerns across the organization.
  • Provide updates through call reports, regular status summaries, customer feedback, product usage forecasts, and other documentation as required by management.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with both new and existing accounts for core photoresist products, negotiating pricing and sales terms to meet customer needs and drive business growth.
Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts and pricing, ensuring profitable terms while meeting customer expectations.
  • Achieve the sales goal for the territory, as established by Management. Meet metrics assigned for accounts, including revenue, POR wins, and overall customer satisfaction.
Technical Solutions and Support
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to understand the technical requirements of customers and provide tailored solutions.
  • Support customers in the design and development process, assisting with technical challenges and connecting them with internal resources.
  • Stay up to date on semiconductor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to proactively suggest innovative solutions.
  • Develop expertise on JSR's product line, including semiconductor materials, to effectively address customer inquiries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams, including materials, engineering, and sales support, to align strategies and improve customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery of products and resolve any issues related to orders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of direct sales experience in the U.S. microelectronics industry; prefer experience within a semiconductor fab or with a semiconductor materials/equipment supplier.
  • Strong technical understanding of semiconductor products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • M.B.A. or MS is a plus or equivalent work experience.
