Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team at ESPO Corporation. As an Operations Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our events team, ensuring the smooth execution of our campaigns and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees, participants, and vendors, including providing relevant information and support.
  • Communicate effectively with attendees, participants, and vendors through various channels.
  • Oversee inventory and event supplies, including ordering and managing logistics.
  • Manage the pick-up and delivery of supplies from our chapter office to event locations.
  • Support the development team in coordinating logistics, including security and EMT services, food and beverage counts, and timely delivery.
  • Post-event mailing of awards and other materials to attendees who were unable to attend the event.
Requirements
  • Two to three years of experience in conducting administrative functions in a professional office setting.
  • Event coordination and logistical support experience is preferred.
  • Ability to attend Walk events on Saturdays, with transportation between the chapter office and event location provided.
  • Experience with Google Suite and Canva, or similar tools, is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technology skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and customer databases.
  • Able to bend and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the Association's mission and constituents.
