As a Customer Service Manager at Century Communities, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive homebuying experience for our homeowners. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all activities involving homeowners, prospective buyers, trades, and division staffing.
  • Remaining in compliance with the company's policies and procedures.
  • Resolving customer issues with appropriate team members and trade partners.
  • Accepting full responsibility for each homeowner within the assigned project.
  • Following through on all customer issues.
  • Monitoring and interceding on the progress and completion of all repairs by trade partners and assigned personnel.
  • Presenting a professional image.
  • Visiting each buyer at the New Buyer Orientation and the Pre-Drywall Orientation.
  • Ensuring that the homeowner is educated on all products and warranties within the home.
  • Thoroughly explaining the company's Limited Warranty to each homeowner.
  • Ensuring the homeowner is fully aware of the policies and procedures in requesting customer service and emergency service.
  • Facilitating a timely response, execution, and completion of all customer issues.
  • Communicating any necessary work to the Customer Relations Coordinator.
  • Participating in root-cause analysis of issues and sending recommendations to the manager.
  • Managing trades to completion of service requests to customer satisfaction.
  • Performing service-related tasks as requested.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive internal and external customer relationships.
  • Determining trade accountability for back charges and PO's.
  • Authorizing payment for work performed within approval limits.
  • Following applicable legal protocol and process necessary workflow.
  • Providing leadership with regular updates on escalated issues.
  • Reviewing and supporting Century's Construction Standards.
  • Performing other duties as needed or assigned.Requirements

  • An excellent communicator with a professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to stay calm under stressful circumstances.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Experience in the construction or homebuilding industry is strongly preferred. A college degree is preferred but not required.
