Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager-LCB to join our Customs Brokerage team. This pivotal role involves overseeing various operational tasks, ensuring effective supervision, and delegating responsibilities within the office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in import, logistics, transportation, and customs brokerage, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional client support and motivating team members to achieve timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive new sales opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  2. Provide leadership and oversight for daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate task completion.
  3. Monitor employee performance, address inquiries, and resolve technical challenges as they arise.
  4. Implement strategies to adjust personnel assignments to meet operational deadlines.
  5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and timely communication with management.
  6. Stay informed on industry developments and internal policy changes, keeping the team updated.
  7. Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the customs brokerage industry or a related field, along with at least two years in a supervisory capacity. A valid U.S. Customs Brokerage License (LCB) is required. Candidates must be willing to sign a non-compete/non-disclosure agreement.

Physical Demands:
