Job Title: Refugee Resettlement Program Coordinator

RAICES is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Refugee Resettlement Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Refugee Client Services team, you will be responsible for coordinating staff and client activities within our programming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for direct service staff within Refugee Client Services
  • Assist Program Managers in monitoring service delivery and documentation of all Reception and Placement (R&P) services, Matching Grant (MG) services, Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) services, and Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) services
  • Coordinate workflow and workload assignments for all Case Managers and Case Aides, identifying opportunities for volunteer engagement or other support resources
  • Provide direct service support, referrals, and identification and development of resources necessary to ensure successful program performance
  • Maintain spreadsheets to track client information and program data
  • Write reports, conduct analysis of findings, and follow up on recommendations
  • Identify and implement actions to improve program procedures and efficiencies as necessary
  • Review program case files for accuracy and timely updates, ensuring they include all required documentation
  • Oversee data tracking and program evaluation tools
  • Maintain current and up-to-date knowledge of US Resettlement Program
  • Conduct hands-on training for staff in all aspects of program
  • Work closely with staff to address client needs
  • Submit a yearly program evaluation report to the Program Manager
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or two (2) additional years of experience in lieu of education
  • 2 years of experience in direct service provision to refugees, asylees, or other vulnerable populations
  • Grant requirements may include fluency in one of the languages spoken by clients, including Spanish, Dari, Swahili, Pashto, Burmese, or Arabic
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable, insured transportation
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and adapt to multiple databases
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in direct service provision to refugees, asylees, or other vulnerable populations
  • 1 year working with trauma-informed practices and case management
