We are currently seeking a Public Relations Specialist who is an innovative thinker and plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing the firm's public and media relations strategies as well as managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives in legal, trade, and business sectors at both regional and national levels.
  • Coordinate and facilitate media interviews with designated spokespersons, evaluate incoming media requests, create talking points, and track media coverage.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess their public relations requirements and assist in content creation; work alongside social media, website, and internal communications teams to manage the complete content lifecycle.
  • Formulate and execute public relations strategies and plans.
  • Support public relations initiatives for selected marketing campaigns as part of a comprehensive strategy.
  • Monitor media coverage, generate media reports, and distribute relevant media insights to internal teams.
  • Engage with external public relations agencies to identify and capitalize on media opportunities that align with the firm's objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in communications or media relations within a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and media representatives, while thriving in complex organizational structures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse perspectives and personalities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, responsiveness, and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms and tools.
