Shipboard Technician Department Lead

StratasCorp Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Shipboard Technician Department Lead to oversee the technical team's daily operations, including management of lifecycle upgrades, software and hardware installations, break/fix support, and solution development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage team workloads to ensure all contractually required tasks are completed
- Collaborate with the Installation and Sustainment team leads to plan for, report on, and complete required tasking assigned in both CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Manage and track technicians' job compliance with required training, certification maintenance, and position qualifications
- Work with MSC civilian and US Navy military representatives for near and long-term planning, status reporting, issue reporting, trend analysis, team logistics requirements, improvement recommendations, and artifact submissions
- Ensure Quality Assurance standards are met or exceeded
- Prepare and collect data points required to compile information for and submit contractually required deliverables
Requirements:
- Must possess active SECRET clearance
- Must possess current IAT III or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M, and be able to get appropriate Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire
- Must have 7 years or more of progressive IT experience supporting maintenance and rollouts of complex IT systems including Microsoft Server, Microsoft Windows, Cisco routers/switches/firewalls, and satellite communications
- Must have experience managing and leading a team of IT technicians
- Project Coordination experience preferred
