Senior Electronics Technician

As a Field Technician II at General Dynamics Information Technology, you will play a critical role in supporting the MK 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) for multiple customers. This position requires a strong background in electronics and mechanical maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of VLS equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.
- Work with the GDIT VLS Team to ensure operational status of contracted VLS work is completed to required procedures and specifications.
- Identify and correct any deficiencies found in VLS equipment.
- Collaborate with a competitive and highly trusted GDIT VLS Team to provide exceptional support to the Fleet and Program.
- 2 years of related USN Shipboard MK 41 VLS Shipboard maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of MK-41 VLS NEC is desired, but not required.
