Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Anderson Dahlen is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality assurance department and staff. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and maintain a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's production and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a quality plan to maintain the company's quality systems and quality procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and ASME pressure vessel code quality requirements.
  • Manage the quality control staff and maintain the company's quality inspection programs for incoming materials, in-process materials, and finished goods.
  • Administer RMA, RCCA, and CAPA processes.
  • Maintain and manage the document control system.
  • Ensure compliance with governing bodies (ASME, ITAR, NQA1, etc.).
  • Conduct vendor assessments.
  • Manage ISO reviews and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related engineering degree.
  • At least 5 years of combined manufacturing/quality engineering experience in a manufacturing/machine job shop environment.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience and/or understanding of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
  • Extensive knowledge of and expertise in ISO 9001:2015 Quality System, ASME, and AWS welding requirements.
  • Proven experience with quality processes and audits.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and tolerancing, gauge management systems, and standards.
  • Demonstrated examples of initiative and aggressiveness in completing projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exhibits strong leadership and sound decision-making qualities.
Physical Requirements:

This position will primarily involve operating a computer at a desk in an office environment.
