Job Summary

The AP/AR Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams at StaffSource, LLC. This position oversees daily processes, maintains vendor records, and develops process improvements to support the Senior Accountant with month-end and year-end tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement ACH payment processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for ACH payments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records, ensuring seamless communication and payment processing.
  • Assist with invoice processing, including miscellaneous expenses, to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Prepare month-end expense accruals and goods in transit inventory accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide backup support to the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Review and approve daily invoices and oversee weekly check runs to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Reconcile intercompany invoices and balance sheet accounts monthly to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, with a strong background in ACH implementation.
  • Management experience required, with prior supervisory experience essential.
  • Proficient in computerized accounting systems, preferably AS400.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
