Job SummaryThe Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in securing financial support for the organization through events, donor meetings, and storytelling. This role represents the organization to the public, working with all development staff to engage the Agate client community.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with gift officers to share client stories and engage the public in Agate's mission.
- Participate in the creation and execution of fundraising activities and events.
- Contribute to stewardship efforts for Agate donors, creating video tours and collecting client stories.
- Support awareness-building efforts by creating content for social media.
- Track all relevant information in Raiser's Edge database.
- 3-5 years of work experience in a housing organization.
- Lived experience of homelessness.
- Demonstrated public-speaking skills and experience.
- Valid Driver's License and access to an insured, safe, and reliable vehicle.
