Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to join our team at CentroMed San Antonio. As a key member of our Call Center Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and families, scheduling appointments, and handling general inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Schedule appointments and handle rescheduling and cancellation requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answer general questions and provide information on health services, insurance, and eligibility programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and update patient information as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a call center or customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language proficiency is required.
