Job Overview

As a Healthcare Coordinator Specialist with Insight Global Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in coordinating healthcare screening results for our clients. This position involves traveling with our mobile team to various clinics and locations, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and set up before patient appointments.

You will be responsible for rooming patients, accurately documenting patient care, and maintaining strict adherence to medical office guidelines and quality program requirements.

This position requires close collaboration with physicians, business managers, and PCP offices to ensure proper communication of patient information and timely completion of required screenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate healthcare screening results in accordance with provider instructions, company standards, and policies
  • Travel with the mobile team to clinics and other designated locations to assist in onsite screenings
  • Room patients, accurately document patient care, and maintain strict adherence to medical office guidelines and quality program requirements
  • Review patient medical records, ensure that all required screenings are completed, and ensure accurate reporting of results to physicians
  • Communicate any abnormal findings to providers promptly and manage post-clinic documentation
  • Assist in organizing the mobile team's work, participating in audits, and ensuring compliance with all guidelines while maintaining confidentiality and proper handling of patient information

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
  • Current BLS certification for healthcare providers
  • Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required
  • ICD-10 and CPT coding required
  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned market; must have reliable transportation for daily travel to various clinics as assigned
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations required
  • Good communication and customer service skills required
