Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Liaison Specialist to join our team at University Health System- San Antonio. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between members and providers regarding benefits and services, resolving issues and providing information about the STAR Kids and STAR+PLUS programs. You will also ensure compliance with HIPAA-related policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison to members and providers regarding benefits and services
  • Resolve member and provider issues
  • Provide information about the STAR Kids and STAR+PLUS programs
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA-related policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare industry
  • Experience with HMOs and special healthcare members preferred

Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year. The salary range is based on national averages for similar positions and may vary depending on location and other factors.
