**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Liaison Specialist to join our team at University Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will play a vital role in ensuring that our members receive the best possible care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Serve as a liaison between members, providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide information regarding benefits and services.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of STAR Kids and STAR+PLUS programs to address member and provider inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA-related policies, including ANE and FWA, in all aspects of operations within Member Services.
  • Answer a minimum of 95% of STAR Kids calls, providing adequate information to callers.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum two years of college-level work in business, healthcare administration, or related courses, or four years of experience as a customer service representative.
  • Minimum two years of HMO experience is required.
  • Healthcare problem resolution and experience working with special healthcare members are preferred.

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
