Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate research associate to support drug discovery projects. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of protein biochemistry and molecular biology, with experience in structural biology being advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to clone and express recombinant proteins in various cell culture systems
  • Purify tagged or native proteins using standard purification techniques and analytical methods
  • Produce high-quality protein crystal structures and co-crystal structures, from crystallization screening to structure refinement
  • Support the crystallographic pipeline through protein design, expression, purification, and biophysical characterization
  • Interpret experimental outcomes and propose follow-up studies
  • Document work, manage, analyze, and present results to multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners to achieve results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or a related life science field with 0-2 years of research experience
  • Experience with molecular cloning, vector construction, bacterial expression, and protein purification is desired
  • Knowledge of protein crystallography, cryo-EM, or NMR is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
