Research Scientist I

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist I to join our research team studying the intricate relationship between gene expression and genome architecture.
The successful candidate will lead an individual project and collaborate with a larger team to investigate how gene expression and genome organization interact and regulate each other's activity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field, with at least two years of experience in a biochemistry/structural biology laboratory.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and executing experiments to investigate gene expression and genome architecture
- Conducting protein expression, purification, and molecular cloning
- Performing cell culture work and structure determination
- Collaborating with the research team to analyze data and draw conclusions
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong passion for scientific research.
