About the Role:
- As a Sales and Insurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and families navigate the complex world of healthcare and insurance.
- You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions that meet their unique circumstances.
- With a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, you will be responsible for building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving sales growth.
- You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional results and making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully become licensed in health and life insurance within the first 30 days of employment.
- Pass FFM and other state-based exchange certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
- Handle leads from dedicated carrier lead sources and multi-carrier lead sources.
- Receive inbound calls from leads and offer available ACA or Medicare products based on an established sales process.
- Conduct follow-up calls to consumers who have not yet purchased the product(s) discussed on a previous call.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university during the duration of the Co-op.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Sales, Business, Communication, Healthcare, or Insurance.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn about the healthcare system and insurance.
- Solid communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
