Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team at CIeNET International. This role involves critical analysis and validation of software systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of software system requirements and architecture, assisting in effort estimation for software development and testing.
  • Interpret product and software system requirements to create both high-level and detailed designs for development and testing processes.
  • Implement Test Driven Development practices, crafting automated unit tests for comprehensive white box and coverage testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure the software meets all specified requirements.
  • Utilize statistical methods and data analysis to devise effective test strategies, ensuring extensive test coverage.
  • Analyze test results from execution cycles to refine testing strategies and enhance case development.
  • Engage in test automation tool development and scripting using languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, and XML.
  • Integrate and optimize third-party software modules, adapting software for specific hardware and mobile devices.
  • Create automated verification tools and scripts to facilitate system and requirement verification.
  • Set up and maintain software and hardware tools, ensuring the functionality of test devices and environments.
  • Oversee various software verification phases, including Unit, Functional, Integration, Regression, Stability, and Performance Testing.
  • Document software issues in the issue tracking system, providing detailed reports to assist in resolution efforts.
  • Communicate project status and updates effectively to management teams and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to established development processes and quality standards, monitoring essential metrics such as Code Coverage and Performance.
Qualifications

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, software development, and testing principles, with a deep understanding of verification methodologies.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems, including Android, QNX, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with Android and Infotainment software systems, as well as application software for mobile and automotive platforms.
  • Knowledge of automotive networks and protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet AVB) and associated testing tools.
  • Experience with embedded software systems related to vehicle control, navigation, connectivity, and multimedia.
  • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and converting manual tests into automated processes.
  • Programming skills in Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, XML, and experience with Windows and UNIX shell environments.
  • Understanding of software verification phases, including Unit, coverage, Functionality, integration, regression, stability, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with software versioning, issue tracking, and software build systems.
Education and Experience

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
