Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a college or university.
  • A Master’s degree in any of the preceding disciplines may be substituted for one year of general experience.
  • Five years experience in the development and/or management of software for DoD computer systems using Ada, C, C++, or Java programming languages; and experience in the development of real-time software for DoD combat platforms systems.
    a) Experience with Technical Data Rights, software quality assurance, and electrical engineering designs for combat vehicles and 
    b) Experience of Cybersecurity, software security engineering, and software assurance principles and applications and
    c) Strong technical experience/capability in system level design of ground combat vehicles, to include working knowledge of primary software functional areas (Soldier Machine Interfaces, Fire Control, Diagnostics, Computing resources, etc.) and how they are employed and 
    d) Experience of DoD/Army Acquisition processes.

  • Secret clearance is required.
