Position Overview:


The Executive Sous Chef will play a vital role in the planning and execution of daily culinary operations, ensuring the preparation and presentation of all food meets safety and quality standards while achieving profitable outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:
You will attract, retain, and inspire top culinary talent.


You will assume the responsibilities of the executive chef in their absence, managing daily orders based on current inventory levels for all dining outlets and events.

You may be required to perform various roles within the culinary department (such as cooking or stewarding).


You will conduct daily inspections of the kitchen, providing recommendations for improvements in cleanliness and functionality as needed.

You will lead daily team meetings to ensure effective communication and preparation.

You will participate in weekly food and beverage meetings, leadership discussions, and safety meetings, representing the culinary team.

You will set the standard for the culinary team to follow.

You will oversee departmental finances, analyzing and controlling costs to maintain a profitable operation.

You will possess a thorough understanding of food allergens and address any guest concerns with urgency.

You will collaborate with the culinary team to ensure that preparation sheets are updated and utilized effectively each day.

You will guide the nightly cleaning of all kitchen areas, ensuring the dish area is organized for the next day's service.

You will assist the Executive Chef in the development, costing, and implementation of seasonal and special menus.

Must be a US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, or possess Work Authorization. This position is not eligible for H2B, J1, or similar visa categories.

Compensation:
The compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
