About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Extended Stay America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our hotel, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in managing hotel operations, including overseeing front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Lead by example and promote a culture of customer satisfaction, encouraging associates to provide exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive revenue growth, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions and optimize hotel performance.
- Serve as a liaison between the hotel and external partners, fostering strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless logistics and optimal cost management.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth and develop targeted marketing strategies to attract new guests and increase bookings.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and associates, adhering to company policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Previous hotel experience, preferably in a leadership or management role, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and improving operational efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
