Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Burger King. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, food quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate self-awareness, motivate yourself and others, and proactively seek feedback to ensure exceptional guest service and adherence to company standards.
  • Staff Management: Understand the impact of job responsibilities on guests, team members, and restaurant operations, ensuring that all team members receive support and training to excel in their roles.
  • Customer Service: Create a supportive environment for team members and resolve concerns promptly, treating employees with respect and recognizing their contributions to achieve sales and labor tracking goals.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with brand standards for service, food quality, and safety, maintaining cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards to uphold the brand image.
  • Shift Operations: Plan and execute shift operations efficiently, following company guidelines for cost control, leading with empathy, fairness, and a focus on teamwork.
  • Talent Development: Identify and develop talent for future roles, applying financial understanding to improve business decisions and ensure cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Labor Laws: Ensure compliance with labor laws, coordinating restaurant operations, including staffing and inventory management, and completing administrative duties.
  • Improvement Plans: Identify trends and implement action plans for improvement, focusing on long-term sales growth, motivating and training team members to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Additional Duties: Support the success of the business hands-on as needed, whether by preparing food, serving guests, cleaning the store, or other duties.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience.
  • Communication: Communication in English is required, Spanish comprehension helpful. Fundamental requirements include reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills.
  • Experience: Previous fast food management experience required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Food & Beverage performance metrics, product specifications, and management systems, technically proficient in all aspects of food preparation, production, and delivery.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, including leading by example and remaining calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, looping in the right stakeholders for support when needed.
  • Attitude: Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations, display a positive attitude and a genuine desire to make others happy and serve one another.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to work and to company outside events/meetings.
  • Availability: Must be available and willing to work a variety of days/times, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
