About the Position

This Administrative Support Coordinator role is a part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division (NWD), Omaha District, Engineering Division.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform and direct varied administrative functions to include calendar management, timekeeping, correspondence creation, and review, as well as coordinate personnel actions and travel orders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review work prepared by section administrative support assistants to ensure completeness and accuracy and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain office calendar and supervisors schedules and ensure completion of time keeping for the entire Branch.
  • Assure the proper preparation of travel orders, vouchers, and other routine financial actions as required.
  • Provide administrative support for personnel in the preparation of all personnel actions, performance standards, performance appraisals, and the preparation of award submissions.
  • Assist supervisors and team members in forecasting training needs and requirements based on priority of need and availability of courses.
  • As a Government Purchase Card manager, you will monitor credit card accounts, commitments, obligations, and expenditures, and assure they are within the Branch budget.

Salary

The salary for this position includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement, estimated at $64,780 - $84,600 per year.
