Job Summary

The ideal candidate will provide consistent good quality, good tasting, and appealing food to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Restaurant Associates deliver superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
  • Learns and uses effective communication skills to engage with customers, educate staff, and empower team members
  • Assists manager on day-to-day operations and procedures, including inventory management and ordering
  • Service customers with the highest quality products and provide excellent customer service
  • Develops and executes weekly/daily specials, including menu planning and pricing
  • Performs all aspects of Back of House restaurant duties, including dish washing and sanitation
  • Assists with inventory management and controls, including ordering and receiving
  • Promotes sales and events, and supports established programs
  • Assists in day-to-day operational procedures to ensure stock levels, inventory, and cleanliness
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Follows all Health Code guidelines and maintains a clean and safe work environment
  • Works within company programs, policies, and procedures
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures, and is a safety role model
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school, or previous Lead Chef experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to work with Supermarket math concepts, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages, distribution, penetration, gross profit, and Sales Per Associate Hour

Work Environment

The Niemann Harvest Market Culinary Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent exposure to heat, humidity, and noise. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
