Rap Attendant

Job Summary

The Rap Attendant is a vital member of the Niemann Foods team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests. As a Rap Attendant, you will be the face of our store, providing assistance with processing orders, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service, ensuring absolute guest satisfaction
• Assist customers with processing orders, including cashiering and loss prevention
• Respond to customer complaints with genuine concern and empathy
• Learn and utilize the GUEST program to enhance customer experience
• Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, using active listening skills to understand their needs
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding merchandise
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer orders in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
• Ensure proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons
• Perform fixed activities as assigned by supervisor, including register maintenance, cleaning, and replenishing supplies
• Direct customer traffic and assist with any pricing issues
• Assist with stocking merchandise around the checkout area
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures, including safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates
• Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds frequently

Working Conditions

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, communicate with associates and customers
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally sit, climb, balance, overhead lifting, crawl, smell, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with moderate noise levels
