Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct, age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and a multidisciplinary plan of care.
  • Safely administer prescribed medications, identifying potential incompatibilities and interactions.
  • Assist the healthcare team in providing education and direction to patients and their families.
  • Participate in leadership development and acquire skills at the unit level.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or a compact state.
  • At least 1 year of RN experience.
  • Academic healthcare experience and experience with similar patient populations are preferred.
